Draka is the world’s largest manufacturer of cables and is part of the Italian multinational corporation Prysmian Group, a large energy and telecom systems company which operates on a worldwide basis across 50 countries, exceeds 19,000 employees and has 91 plants.

The Prysmian Group provide cable solutions to major global organisations of many industries, and believes in efficiency and sustainability in the supply of energy for developing communities.

Draka’s cable solutions are user-friendly, reliable and cost-effective. These are widely distributed and easily obtainable from several suppliers across the country. Draka offers a wide variety of cables, from low voltage house cables to specialist cables suited to commercial needs, including office environments and industrial environments. Examples of Draka’s cables includes the Fire performance cables, which have fantastic fire resistance and low risk of fire hazard, especially suited to emergency circuits and also applicable to non-emergency circuits, and Draka’s multimedia cables, which are designed for durability and larger bandwidths and are therefore better suited to media companies.
