1) Discovery with Ops & IT
We map PoS, stock workflows, click-and-collect points, staff devices, signage, CCTV and any mall landlord rules. We align works with trading hours and visual-merch changes.
2) On-site RF survey & modelling
We measure real attenuation (walls, chillers, mirrors), observe neighbour SSIDs and validate AP positions with test APs. For new stores, we model from drawings and confirm on install. Start with a Wi-Fi Site Survey.
3) Wired readiness & PoE planning
We assess risers, containment and cabinets so each AP gets clean power and backhaul. Where the foundation is weak, we phase structured cabling remediation out of hours. (Learn more: Structured Data Cabling.)
4) Design for capacity, roaming & fairness
We select AP counts and antenna types for corridors, shop floors and stockrooms; tune channel widths/power; set minimum data rates; enable 802.11k/v (and 11r where supported) to stop sticky clients.
5) Segmentation & policies
SSIDs/VLANs separate Guest / PoS / Staff / IoT. We implement 802.1X for corporate devices, rate-limit and walled-garden guest access, and QoS for voice or handheld workflows.
6) Install, validate & handover
Noisy works are evenings/overnight. We validate with your scanners/PoS, then hand over heatmaps, controller backups, as-builts, patching matrices and PoE budgets.

- Right-sized AP mix. Low-profile APs for the shop floor, higher-gain or directional options in deep stock aisles, and weather-rated units for entrances or covered loading bays if required.
- Clean, certified cabling. Correct category runs to each AP, labelled outlets, ventilated cabinets and neatly dressed patching. (If uplinks between rooms or floors are long, consider Fibre-Optic Installation Services.)
- Guest experience that fits your brand. Branded captive portal or simple pass-through, with rate-limits that protect PoS and ops.
- PoS assurance. Dedicated SSID/VLAN for PoS terminals with strict policy boundaries—supporting PCI-conscious designs and predictable latency at the tills.
- Operations & IoT lanes. Separate wireless for handheld scanners, tablets, printers, signage and sensors to reduce broadcast noise and keep business-critical traffic clean.

- Flagships & large formats. We design for peak footfall and dense device mixes, with high-capacity APs and controller profiles for event days and big launches.
- High-street & convenience formats. Compact designs that still deliver robust PoS and stockroom coverage; simpler controller profiles your team can replicate.
- Concessions & mall units. Channel plans and power are tuned to play nicely with landlord Wi-Fi and neighbouring tenants. We can provide store-in-store SSID strategies where a concession needs independence.
- Templates for rollout. We package controller configs and naming schemes as reusable templates so new stores go live quickly and consistently.
