ACCL uses specialised WiFi media adapters to convert Ethernet systems for wireless use throughout your office buildings or premises. Your Ethernet system can then be accessed by any device capable of using it, just like a traditional Internet connection.
The key difference between Internet and Ethernet WiFi systems lies in the wireless access point used for Ethernet connections, which is connected to the physical network to broadcast wireless signals.
Here is how ACCL performs expert WiFi installation projects:
Our team starts each project by identifying the best positions to place wireless access points in to avoid ineffective overlapping signals and dead zones.
We provide a bespoke service to create a WiFi installation plan that will cater to your specific business needs. This includes choosing the correct WiFi standard to give you the connectivity you’re looking for.
Our certified installation technicians ensure all aspects of your new WiFi system are installed correctly so that your system serves you optimally.
Our installation team performs a variety of industry-standard tests to
ensure your WiFi network performs according to your needs
and expectations.
Once your WiFi installation is complete, our team will provide ongoing
assistance whenever you need it and can even help to train your
staff on how best to use your WiFi network.

There are four different WiFi standards that are most commonly used by businesses in London today:
Each standard offers a unique range of advantages and disadvantages that should be considered when choosing and installing a WiFi network.
802-11a is primarily used for short-range business and office use and is one of the more costly options available. However, it’s also faster than options like 802-11b, and offers a bandwidth of up to 54Mbps. It is also immune to most forms of interference, providing excellent reliability and stability.
This standard is often installed in personal residences for long-range home use and is less commonly used in businesses. It’s a cost-effective option but somewhat slower than other standards, with a maximum bandwidth of just 11Mbps. It uses an unregulated frequency, which makes it prone to interference from a range of devices.
802-11g provided a significant upgrade to previous standards when it was released in 2002. It pairs the best features of all of its preceding WiFi standards and is backwards compatible with the 802-11b standard. 802-11g offers rapid speeds of up to 54Mbps, good range, and cost efficacy, but is susceptible to interference in some cases.
802-11n is the latest standard, offering speeds of up to 300Mbps and range of up to 300 feet. It is backwards compatible with the 802-11g standard, but as it’s not yet been finalised, not all devices are 802-11n-compatible. It’s the second most costly option after 802-11a. Regardless, this option offers the best speeds, longest range, interference resistance, and backwards compatibility.
Our WiFi installation process involves an initial survey, the creation of an approved installation plan, the installation itself, and post-installation assistance and training.
Here’s what’s included in a WiFi Site Survey:
Site surveys are required to identify common WiFi issues and to plan business WiFi coverage for your office or premises. Your coverage needs to take into account your employees who will bring multiple devices to work, any furniture or building materials that can affect signals, and the best places for access points. Our surveys also assist us in creating scalable solutions that can grow over time as your organisation does.
Our WiFi site surveys begin with an on-site visit from a WiFi installer, who uses cutting edge site survey tools to listen to your existing access points and other sources to identify signal coverage, interference, and strength. If a network is already in place, the installer will perform a manual inspection of your wireless hardware.
Our engineers will run wireless analysis software to capture all relevant data pertaining to your WiFi’s performance, which helps us to identify existing network issues. We take the time to learn about your business’s needs and future plans to ensure that we offer optimal price to performance ratios and scalability.
Outdoor WiFi networks differ considerably from their indoor counterparts. If you need your internet connection to be reliable and stable across your business’s premises, it’s essential that you invest in an expert outdoor WiFi installation.
ACCL has been installing internet access systems, including outdoor WiFi systems, for more than two decades. We’ve made it possible for dozens of organisations across London to make the most of outdoor WiFi thanks to our personalised installation solutions.
Many businesses and organisations require outdoor WiFi, from university and school campuses to sporting venues, stadiums, golf clubs, events venues, and restaurants. Any business that needs reliable internet across its entire premises needs an outdoor WiFi system to provide this extended coverage.
Outdoor WiFi can benefit your business by providing a stronger network connection, attracting more customers to your premises, covering expansive outdoor services, and providing a constant connection for customers and team members who work both indoors and outdoors.
Router range isn’t the primary motivation for installing outdoor WiFi, either. Venues like stadiums, schools and universities need robust systems that can offer internet to hundreds or thousands of devices simultaneously. Outdoor WiFi systems are also designed to work reliably regardless of the weather, unlike indoor systems, which can be affected by weather and building materials.
Outdoor networks are similar to indoor WiFi systems in many ways, but they also pose a few intricacies that make them challenging to install correctly. This is why we advise our clients to work with skilled installers like ACCL to make the most of their outdoor WiFi systems.
The main challenges associated with installing outdoor WiFi networks include:
Outdoor networks must have access to a close-by connected building, which will enable them to ‘hop’ from one mesh access point to another before travelling back to the wired network. Each hop will reduce the speed of the network, which is why it’s essential to carefully design the installation plan.
An on-site visit is essential to identifying sources of interference and finding the best positions for access points to ensure optimal connectivity.
Adding more access points to strengthen WiFi installed high up in buildings can impair its performance. Our experts scale your system as needed without overloading your access points.
Weather conditions and seasonal changes like tree growth and cover must be factored in during your WiFi installation to ensure that your connectivity is consistent and reliable.
