Client requirements: out with the old, in with the new
WideOrbit were moving from a regional office to a relatively small fifteen hundred square metres purpose-built office in London. All existing cabling had to be recovered, due to the previous tenants cutting away their data cabinets. The cables had to be replaced and allocated to new positions to meet the desk layout requirements, and a new data cabinet had to be installed. An uninterruptible power supply (UPS) system was also required, to serve as an additional backup power supply for the data cabinet.
In addition to these cabling installation works, the client also wanted a projector and screen installed in two meeting rooms, as well as two fifteen inch Samsung televisions.
Meeting a Challenging Schedule
The project had to be completed within four days so as to fit in with the schedule of other trades, which required careful planning. Mandeep Chana, IT Manager at WideOrbit commented: “Wayne Connors, MD of ACCL, and his team take great care in scoping out projects and paying close attention to the details.” As a result, the ACCL team successfully met the deadline by arriving early on site and working long hours to ensure all tasks were completed.
Customer focus and high-quality service
A total of 160 cables were installed, together with the additional hardware, and the project was completed on time and within budget, resulting in a highly satisfied client. Mandeep added: “
I’ve partnered with ACCL on multiple projects based on their quality of delivery and first class communication from conception to handover. The ACCL team quickly build trust with customers and let the results do the talking. You know you are in good hands with their consultative and transparent approach and I’d recommend them for all data cabling, communication, server room and rack work.”
