ISO 45001 – Workplace Safety
ACCL’s occupational health and safety management system has an original approval date of 15 October 2007 under the predecessor OHSAS 18001 framework. This prestigious international standard for health and safety management systems provides a framework for organisations to identify and manage health and safety risks, and to improve workplace safety. ISO 45001 is the international Standard for occupational Health & Safety management superseding the OHSAS 18001 Standard.
This certification requires that organisations go beyond simple compliance to the standard and that it is fully integrated into their management practices and are able to continually demonstrate ongoing compliance with the standard.
ACCL subsequently transitioned to ISO 45001:2018. Its current certificate and validity dates should be checked on the accreditation record when assessing present certification status. For our clients, this means they benefit from streamlined processes that maximise safety, minimise risks, and align with best practices in health and safety management. ACCL’s proactive risk management and commitment to employee and customer well-being remain integral to its operations, reinforcing its role as a forward-thinking partner.
At ACCL, health and safety responsibility is not merely a commitment – it underpins all of our work ethics and a non-comprisable promise to our employees, and clients.
In today’s market, many companies claim adherence to health and safety standards, but few can substantiate their claims with a certification history as extensive and consistent as ACCL’s. This long-standing commitment can act as a reassurance that ACCL has been a trusted provider since before such standards became widely embraced, and will continue to honour that commitment through continued compliance.
