Commercial fibre optic installation for Southwark and London Bridge businesses
Southwark has become one of London’s most significant commercial districts, stretching from London Bridge and More London through Bankside and along the south bank. It is home to major corporate headquarters, financial and professional services firms, and large modern office developments — alongside converted warehouses and heritage premises around Borough. ACCL delivers commercial fibre optic installation across Southwark, engineered for the bandwidth and reliability these occupiers expect.
Our fibre engineers design and install single-mode and multi-mode fibre backbones, inter-floor links, and campus connectivity for offices throughout SE1 and the wider borough. ACCL already provides structured data cabling in Southwark, so fibre is delivered by a team that already knows the area and its buildings — and we are just across the river from our City office at Royal Exchange.
Why Southwark corporate occupiers and SE1 businesses choose fibre
For Southwark’s mix of corporate HQs and modern riverside offices, fibre is the natural choice:
- Capacity for corporate HQs — single-mode fibre supports 10 Gigabit backbones for the large, data-heavy organisations based along the south bank.
- Modern high-rise distribution — fibre carries high bandwidth efficiently through the borough’s tall, multi-floor office towers.
- Resilience for professional services — tested and certified links reduce the outage risk that financial and professional firms cannot accept.
- Heritage and converted buildings — careful routing and containment suit the warehouse conversions and mixed premises common around Borough and Bankside.
- Future-ready capacity — a fibre backbone scales with demand without re-cabling, protecting the investment as occupancy grows.
Local capability, tested and certified
Testing and certification are agreed to suit the installed fibre system and project specification. Eligible manufacturer systems can be registered for a 25-year warranty only where the approved components, installer, testing, documentation and registration conditions are met. ACCL holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
For larger or multi-tenant developments we also design passive optical networks that simplify distribution across many floors, and our fibre optic repair team provides rapid response across SE1 if a fault ever arises.
