Fibre Optic Installation Hackney

Commercial fibre optic installation for Hackney and Shoreditch tech businesses

Hackney is at the centre of London’s digital economy. Shoreditch and the Tech City fringe host one of Europe’s densest clusters of technology, fintech, digital and creative firms, while Hackney Wick and Dalston add studios, media and fast-growing SMEs. These businesses live or die by their connectivity. ACCL delivers commercial fibre optic installation across Hackney, engineered for the bandwidth and uptime they depend on.

Our fibre engineers design and install single-mode and multi-mode fibre backbones, inter-floor links, and structured infrastructure for offices and studios throughout E8, E9, E2 and the EC2A fringe. ACCL already provides structured data cabling in Hackney, so fibre is delivered by a team familiar with the borough’s converted warehouses and new developments.

Why Hackney tech, fintech and creative businesses specify fibre

For Hackney’s tech, digital and creative occupiers, fibre is mission-critical:

Capacity for tech and fintech — single-mode fibre supports 10 Gigabit backbones for the data-heavy digital businesses of Shoreditch and the Tech City fringe.
Reliability for always-on companies — tested and certified links keep digital and creative operations connected without interruption.
Sympathetic work in converted warehouses — careful routing and containment suit the brick-and-timber conversions common across Shoreditch and Hackney Wick.
Immunity to interference — fibre performs reliably regardless of the electrical environment in older, mixed-use industrial buildings.
Scalable for fast growth — a fibre backbone scales with rapidly growing headcount and data demand without re-cabling.

Local capability, tested and certified

Testing and certification are agreed to suit the installed fibre system and project specification. Eligible manufacturer systems can be registered for a 25-year warranty only where the approved components, installer, testing, documentation and registration conditions are met. ACCL holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.

For larger or multi-tenant premises we also design passive optical networks to simplify distribution, and our fibre optic repair team provides rapid response across east and inner London if a fault ever arises.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We commissioned a Wi-Fi survey and installation of new fibre and Cat6 cabling to support a new Wi-Fi installation from Accl in July and August of 2026. ACCL were superb from start to finish. We cannot fault the quality of the work and we received great advice on our project. Very satisfied customer!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used ACCL for a full WiFi and network install at our Old Street office and are very pleased with the result. They supplied and installed seven Ubiquiti WiFi access points, a UniFi Dream Machine, a 24 port Layer 3 Ubiquiti switch, and ran new Cat6A Leviton cabling with two ports to every AP. The whole job was neat, well planned and done to a very high standard. The coverage across the office is excellent and it looks pretty cool too! Would happily recommend them to anyone needing cabling or network infrastructure done properly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've worked with Wayne, David and the ACCL team for a number of years on projects throughout London. One of very few suppliers that we never have to question their proposal on detail or price, everything is clear, transparent and fair. Projects are always completed on time and there are never any costly surprises which we had previously experienced from other suppliers. They all have a vast knowledge on anything fibre optic cabling, copper cabling or wifi. ACCL is now the only data cabling company in our phone book. Highly recommended.

Sector focus:

Technology, fintech and digital businesses

Shoreditch and the surrounding EC2A and E2 postcodes sit at the heart of East London Tech City, one of London’s best-known technology and digital business clusters. The businesses here are data-intensive and always-on, making fibre infrastructure as fundamental as power.

Tech, fintech and creative occupiers

From Shoreditch to Hackney Wick, we deliver fibre for:

Technology and fintech businesses requiring 10 Gigabit backbones and resilient uplinks.
Creative studios and media firms in Hackney Wick needing high-bandwidth connectivity for production.
Fast-growing digital SMEs requiring infrastructure that scales with headcount without re-cabling.

Our designs support high bandwidth, reliable uptime and the flexibility to scale with rapid growth.

Converted warehouses and mixed-use industrial buildings

Shoreditch and Hackney Wick are defined by their converted brick-and-timber warehouses and mixed-use industrial buildings. Fibre installation here requires careful planning to work within the constraints of older building fabric while delivering modern performance.

Converted brick-and-timber warehouse offices requiring sympathetic routing and containment.
Mixed-use industrial buildings where fibre must be planned around existing services and occupier requirements.
New-build office developments on former industrial sites requiring clean, standards-compliant infrastructure.

Every installation is fully tested, labelled and documented, giving your IT team clear, audit-ready records.

Converted warehouse offices in Shoreditch and Hackney Wick requiring sympathetic routing and careful containment.
Mixed-use older industrial buildings with existing services and occupier constraints.
Modern new-build offices requiring clean, standards-compliant fibre infrastructure from the ground up.

Every installation is fully tested, labelled and documented, giving your IT team clear, audit-ready records.

Technologies, standards and future-readiness

Our installations use proven components and follow industry standards to ensure performance today and headroom for tomorrow.

Multimode and singlemode fibre optic cabling for high-speed backbone and inter-floor links.
Structured cabling to support modern Wi-Fi, IP telephony, CCTV, access control and building management systems.
Design, installation and testing against the standards and acceptance criteria identified in the project specification, with documented results for the links included in the agreed test scope.

This standards-based approach makes it easier to scale, upgrade and integrate new technologies over time.
