Structured Data Cabling Newham

Newham is one of east London’s fastest‑changing boroughs, with major logistics hubs, construction activity and expanding town centres around Stratford, Canning Town, Beckton and the Royal Docks.

Home of the London 2012 Olympic Park

A large area of Newham was transformed for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, creating what is now Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the new Stratford city district. The legacy includes new housing, transport links, cultural venues and business space that continue to shape the borough’s economy.

Newham’s Royal Docks, including Royal Albert Dock and King George V Dock, were once among the world’s largest enclosed docks. Although commercial dock activity declined in the late 20th century, the area has been reinvented with new logistics sites, commercial space, housing and London City Airport nearby.

Structured cabling in Newham provides the high‑performance copper and fibre backbone that these businesses need for warehousing systems, project delivery and modern retail operations.

We design, install and maintain standards‑compliant structured cabling systems for warehouses, offices, stores and mixed‑use buildings, ensuring every link is tested, labelled and documented. This makes it easier for your IT team or support partner to manage moves, adds and changes, troubleshoot quickly and keep downtime to an absolute minimum.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We commissioned a Wi-Fi survey and installation of new fibre and Cat6 cabling to support a new Wi-Fi installation from Accl in July and August of 2026. ACCL were superb from start to finish. We cannot fault the quality of the work and we received great advice on our project. Very satisfied customer!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We used ACCL for a full WiFi and network install at our Old Street office and are very pleased with the result. They supplied and installed seven Ubiquiti WiFi access points, a UniFi Dream Machine, a 24 port Layer 3 Ubiquiti switch, and ran new Cat6A Leviton cabling with two ports to every AP. The whole job was neat, well planned and done to a very high standard. The coverage across the office is excellent and it looks pretty cool too! Would happily recommend them to anyone needing cabling or network infrastructure done properly.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We've worked with Wayne, David and the ACCL team for a number of years on projects throughout London. One of very few suppliers that we never have to question their proposal on detail or price, everything is clear, transparent and fair. Projects are always completed on time and there are never any costly surprises which we had previously experienced from other suppliers. They all have a vast knowledge on anything fibre optic cabling, copper cabling or wifi. ACCL is now the only data cabling company in our phone book. Highly recommended.

Key Sectors We Support in Newham

Logistics, Warehousing and Industrial

Newham’s location close to the A13, A406, City Airport and the Royal Docks makes it a key area for logistics, warehousing and light industrial operations. These sites depend on robust connectivity to keep goods moving and data accurate.

For logistics and warehousing operations we provide:

Structured cabling for warehouses, depots and distribution centres to support WMS, barcode scanners, handheld devices, weighbridges and staff workstations.
Fibre and copper backbone links between offices, loading bays and mezzanines for low‑latency data flow and reliable coverage.
Network cabling for IP CCTV, access control and yard security, integrated over the same structured infrastructure.

This helps reduce picking errors, speed up order processing and maintain visibility across the supply chain.

Construction and Project Offices

Newham has undergone extensive regeneration, including major schemes around Stratford, the Olympic Park and the Royal Docks, which support a large construction and property‑related workforce. Project offices, compounds and completed buildings all require reliable, flexible network infrastructure.

For construction and project environments we deliver:

Structured cabling for head offices, site cabins and project offices, supporting project management tools, BIM platforms, document control and collaboration.
Ruggedised copper and fibre solutions suitable for semi‑temporary setups, with tidy terminations and clear labelling to simplify de‑mobilisation.
Cabling for site CCTV, access control and time‑and‑attendance systems that support safety and compliance.

This enables project teams to communicate effectively between site, client and supply chain while keeping information secure and accessible.

FAQ – Structured Data Cabling Newham

Q. What is structured cabling?

Structured cabling is a planned, standards-based way of installing network cables so data, voice, Wi-Fi and IP devices share a single, organised infrastructure of outlets, patch panels and backbone links. It replaces ad-hoc wiring with a consistent layout that is easier to manage, scale and troubleshoot.

Q. Why is structured cabling important for logistics and construction businesses in Newham?

Logistics centres, warehouses and construction projects in Newham rely on dependable connectivity for WMS, scanners, project tools and security systems. Structured cabling provides the performance, resilience and flexibility they need as operations grow and more devices come online.

Q. Which cabling category is best for our Newham warehouse or store?

For most modern warehouses, depots and retail units in Newham, Cat6 is a strong baseline, with Cat6a recommended where higher bandwidth, PoE loads or a longer lifecycle are expected, plus fibre for backbone links between floors, offices and warehouse areas.

Q. Can you install structured cabling in live buildings and operational warehouses in Newham?

Yes. Work can be phased and scheduled out of hours or in planned windows to minimise disruption to warehouse operations, construction activity or trading. Careful planning ensures critical services stay online while upgrades are carried out.
