Client requirements and ACCL’s solution
The company spokesperson who led the project, explains: “We drew up a structured cabling statement of requirements and invited quotes from three companies. An associate had recommended ACCL, and I was immediately impressed with its competitive pricing and comprehensive understanding of our requirements.”
The structured cabling solution that ACCL installed was a Nexans Category 6 cabling system serving seventy-nine RJ45 outlets, housed in either floor boxes or floor grid outlet positions, fed from a single Comms room via a raised floor void.
Successful completion, on time and within budget
ACCL completed the project on time, to plan and within budget and our friendly Company spokesperson was ready to speak up again… “I found ACCL very responsive and easy to work with. Nothing was too much trouble. So when I discovered that it carried out electrical installation too I had no hesitation in extending the contract to include our power and lighting work.”
ACCL were more than happy to help and installed a Powerplan Electrak underfloor system to supply all power requirements including air conditioning, kitchen area appliances, and AV systems. It also supplied the lighting cabling, installing a managed Prolojik PIR movement-switching environment for the main office areas, and individual single switching for newly constructed offices.
Cost-effective solutions
ACCL added considerable value by proposing changes to the lighting specification to create visual impact. An example is the LED lighting systems in the reception area and along the adjacent feature wall leading to the boardroom, separately controlled from switches at the main entrance. To complete the project ACCL also supplied AV cabling, AV hardware, a Sky TV feed, and ten 50-inch plasma flat screen TVs in the boardroom, the break out area, and along the feature wall.
