They supplied and installed seven Ubiquiti WiFi access points, a UniFi Dream Machine, a 24 port Layer 3 Ubiquiti switch, and ran new Cat6A Leviton cabling with two ports to every AP. The whole job was neat, well planned and done to a very high standard. The coverage across the office is excellent and it looks pretty cool too! Separate SSIDs/VLANs for Staff, Guest and Devices/IoT with appropriate authentication (WPA2-Enterprise/802.1X for staff), QoS for voice/video and rate limits where needed.

FAQs

Can you avoid downtime?
Yes. We phase works so existing networks remain live; each zone is installed, tested and handed back before staff return.

Do we need new cabling to every AP?
Not always. We test and retain sound runs, replacing or adding only where it improves stability, PoE or throughput.

Will guests see the corporate network?
No. Guests are isolated on dedicated VLANs/SSIDs with policy controls and, if required, a branded captive portal.

What about meeting rooms with many devices?
We model concurrency and specify high-density APs and channel plans for those rooms, with QoS tuned for voice/video.

Do you hand over full documentation?
Yes—heatmaps, as-builts, patching matrices, PoE tables and controller backups are included.
